Southmoreland Scotties (Alverton, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA), 36-6 in a league test.

With the triumph, Southmoreland improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Scotties host Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA) to battle the Golden Lions in a WPIAL AAA Interstate test on Friday, October 14. The Golden Lions come into the test with a record of 3-4. Greensburg Salem lost 51-7 in their recent league test against Belle Vernon (Belle Vernon, PA)

With the loss, South Allegheny drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA) to battle the Warriors in a WPIAL AAA Interstate test on Friday, October 14. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 7-0. Elizabeth Forward won 42-14 in their recent league test against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA)
