The Sunnyside Blue Devils football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Tucson High Magnet School Badgers to 0 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Friday.

The Blue Devils now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Rincon/University for a 5A Sonoran battle on Friday, October 14. Sunnyside will play a Rangers squad coming off a 35-27 non-league loss to Amphitheater (Tucson, AZ). The Rangers record now stands at 1-4.

Coming up next, the Badgers play the Mountain View Mountain Lions (Tucson, AZ) in a 5A Southern battle, on Friday, October 14. Tucson High Magnet School will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Mountain Lions go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 49-42 non-league loss to Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ).
