The Yuba City Honkers football team (Yuba City, CA), was tipped 17-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA)

The Timberwolves (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Antelope (Antelope, CA). The Titans come into the Capital Valley Conference challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Antelope nipped Yuba City (Yuba City, CA), 34-28, in a league challenge.

The Honkers now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bella Vista for a Capital Valley Conference challenge on Friday, October 14. Yuba City will meet a Broncos team coming off a 64-36 league loss to Roseville (Roseville, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 4-3.
