In Friday's league battle, the host Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the West Union Dragons.
The Mustangs (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 1-7 record.
The Dragons (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH). The Blue Jays come into the Southern Hills battle with a 1-10 record. In their last battle, Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington was overwhelmed by Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.
