In Friday's non-league battle, the host Spackenkill Spartans soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Mount Academy Eagles.
The Spartans (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Valhalla (Valhalla, NY). The Vikings come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record.
The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against New Paltz (New Paltz, NY). The Huguenots come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, New Paltz was nudged by Saugerties (Saugerties, NY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
