The New London Whalers volleyball team (New London, CT), was dropped 3-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Bacon Academy Bobcats (Colchester, CT)

The Bobcats (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Ledyard (Ledyard, CT). The Colonels enter the Eastern Connecticut - Large challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Ledyard defeated Killingly (Killingly, CT), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Whalers meet the Norwich RVT Warriors (Norwich, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 10. New London will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT).
