The Ben Eielson Ravens volleyball team (Eielson AFB, AK), was nudged 3-2 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Nome-Beltz Nanooks (Nome, AK)

The Nanooks (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Hutchison (Fairbanks, AK). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 2-6 record.

Next, the Ravens meet the Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK) in a 3A Aurora challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Ben Eielson will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Nikiski (Nikiski, AK).
