In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Lakewood Lancers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Chadwick Dolphins.

The Cougars come into the battle with a 7-18 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA).
