Rhode Island High School Volleyball - Chariho over Rogers

Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Chargers clash with the Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) in a Division 2 match, on Tuesday, October 11. Chariho will attempt to advance on its 10-0 season record. The Chieftains come into the match with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Westerly (Westerly, RI).

With the loss, Rogers drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to East Providence (East Providence, RI) to clash with the Townies in a Division 2 match on Tuesday, October 11.
