The El Cajon Valley Braves volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Kearny Komets to 0 in the Braves non-league victory on Friday.
The Braves now have a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a Grossmont Hills game on Monday, October 10. El Cajon Valley will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-18.
The Komets (9-15) will now prepare for their game against High Tech Mesa (San Diego, CA). The Thunder enter the non-league game with a 12-13 record. In their last game, High Tech Mesa gained a win over Bayfront Charter (Chula Vista, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
