The Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts topped the host Morton Potters volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Grey Ghosts now have a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Zion for a non-league test on Friday, October 7. Illinois Valley Central will confront a Braves team coming off a 2-1 league win over Mattoon (Mattoon, IL). The Braves record now stands at 12-9.

The Potters (11-13) will now prepare for their test against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets enter the Mid-Illini test with a 22-3 record. In their last test, Limestone gained a win over St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
