In Friday's non-league battle, the host Mt. Carmel Sundevils volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the JW North Huskies.
The Sundevils (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Pacific Ridge (Carlsbad, CA). The Firebird come into the non-league battle with a 21-8 record. In their last battle, Pacific Ridge achieved victory over Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Huskies clash with the Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 7. JW North will attempt to advance on its 13-14 season record. The Jesters come into the battle with a 11-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA).
