In Friday's non-league contest, the Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA) volleyball squad were winner over the host King Abdullah Academy Falcons (Herndon, VA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Gryphons battle the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles (Fredericksburg, VA) in a Virginia Christian Athletic contest, on Wednesday, October 12. Trinity Christian will attempt to better on its 4-11 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 11-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA).

With the loss, King Abdullah Academy moves to 3-17 on the year. The Falcons travel to Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC) to battle the Tigers in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 8. The Tigers go into the contest with a record of 13-3. Jackson-Reed won 2-0 in their recent league contest against Banneker (Washington, DC)
