The Mt. Carmel Sundevils topped the visiting Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Sundevils now have a 11-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pacific Ridge for a non-league test on Saturday, October 8. Mt. Carmel will confront a Firebird team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Firebird record now stands at 21-8.
The Crusaders (14-12) will now prepare for their test against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Barons enter the Metro Mesa test with a 24-8 record. In their last test, Bonita Vista gained a win over El Capitan (Merced, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
