In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Missouri School for the Deaf Eagles.

The Trojans (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Kansas School for the Deaf (Olathe, KS). The Jackrabbits come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Kansas School for the Deaf achieved victory over Marie Philip (Framingham, MA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Eagles encounter the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 8. Missouri School for the Deaf will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Roadrunners come into the battle with a 5-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
