In Friday's league battle, the visiting Stratford Red Devils volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the New Milford Green Wave.

The Red Devils (12-0) will now prepare for their battle against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bobcats come into the Southwest-Colonial battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, Brookfield nudged Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Green Wave encounter the Bethel Wildcats (Bethel, CT) in a Southwest-Colonial battle, on Tuesday, October 11. New Milford will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Newtown (Newtown, CT).
