The Oxford Wolverines volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Wolcott Eagles to 2 in the Wolverines league victory on Friday.

The Wolverines now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ansonia for a Naugatuck Valley game on Monday, October 10. Oxford will meet a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Seymour (Seymour, CT). The Chargers record now stands at 0-10.

The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their game against Watertown (Watertown, CT). The Indians enter the Naugatuck Valley game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Watertown held off Crosby (Waterbury, CT), 3-0, in a league game.
