In Friday's non-league battle, the host Walnut Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Temple City Rams.
The Mustangs (25-10) will now prepare for their battle against Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA). The Conquerors come into the Hacienda battle with a 13-15 record. In their last battle, Los Altos lost by Rowland (Rowland Heights, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Rams clash with the Blair Vikings (Pasadena, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, October 11. Temple City will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 0-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Monrovia (Monrovia, CA).
