The Valdez Buccaneers held off the host Tournament Opponent volleyball team by a score of 1-0 in Friday's non-league test.
The Buccaneers now have a 35-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bartlett for a non-league test on Friday, October 7. Valdez will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Chugiak (Chugiak, AK). The Golden Bears record now stands at 9-19.
The (60-187) will now prepare for their test against Santa Fe (Alachua, FL). The Raiders enter the non-league test with a 15-1 record. In their last test, Santa Fe held off Vanguard (Ocala, FL), 3-0, in a non-league test.
