Missouri High School Volleyball - Ozark over Helias

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ozark Tigers (Ozark, MO) and the visiting Helias Crusaders (Jefferson City, MO), saw Ozark's volleyball squad beat Helias by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Ozark upgrades its record to 1-1 on the year.
The Crusaders now own a 16-8 record. They play next when they travel to Nixa for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Helias will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Helias (Jefferson City, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
Match Summary
In the 4th Match of the Nixa 9th VB Tourney Helias would face perennial Volleyball program powerhouse Ozark Lady Tigers.
Helias would start off hot taking a lead, the see it evaporate. Helias would make another push ahead, but back came Ozark to take lead. Helias would make another surge to take the lead back and have game point 24-23. Ozark would hold and go onto take set one 28-26. In the 2nd set Helias would battle the Lady Tigers tough, but end up just short of victory falling 22-25 to the Lady Tigers.
