The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) and the host Marshall Eagles (Pasadena, CA), saw Taft's volleyball squad beat Marshall by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 16-9 on the year. The Toreadors travel to Maywood CES (Maywood, CA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 2-2.

The Eagles now own a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Mountain View for a bout on Wednesday, October 11. Marshall will play a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-5.
