The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) and the host Presentation Panthers (San Jose, CA), saw Mountain View's volleyball squad nip Presentation by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 15-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA) to play the Wildcats in a bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-0.

The Panthers now own a 13-15 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. Presentation will play a Regents squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Regents record now stands at 1-4.
