Poplar Bluff Mules (Poplar Bluff, MO) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Hillsboro Hawks (Hillsboro, MO), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Mules confront the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders (Jackson, MO) in a Southeast Missouri challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Poplar Bluff will attempt to better on its 9-2 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 0-0 league Perryville (Perryville, MO).
The Hawks now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Windsor for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 10.
