Next, the Mounties confront the West Essex Knights (North Caldwell, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Montclair will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 2-2 non-league Irvington (Irvington, NJ).

The Tornadoes now possess a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Newark Collegiate Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 20. Orange will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Payne Tech (Newark, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
