Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a Suburban Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Plainfield Central will attempt to move on its 14-4 season record. The Steelmen enter the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Crete-Monee (Crete, IL).
The Wildcats now possess a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they host DeKalb for a DuPage Valley challenge on Tuesday, October 10. Neuqua Valley will confront a Barbs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Barbs record now stands at 5-10.
