The Eugene Eagles routed the host Sturgeon Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Eagles (10-11) will now prepare for their battle against Fayette (Fayette, MO). The Falcons go into the non-league battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Fayette topped Glasgow (Glasgow, MO), 7-4, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-16 record. They play next when they host Higbee for a non-league battle on Monday, October 9. Sturgeon will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 16-6 non-league loss to Bevier (Bevier, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 7-14.
