The Riverdale Rebels volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting A.J. Ellender Patriots to 1 in the Rebels non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rebels now have a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Benjamin Franklin for a Division II District 6 game on Monday, October 9. Riverdale will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 18-6.
The Patriots (9-13) will now prepare for their game against Assumption (Napoleonville, LA). The Mustangs enter the Division II District 5 game with a 13-13 record.
