Virginia High School Volleyball - Alexandria City edged by Oakton

The Oakton Cougars held off the host Alexandria City Titans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Lakes for a Concorde test on Tuesday, October 10. Oakton will confront a Seahawks team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Seahawks record now stands at 8-5.
The Titans (9-11) will now prepare for their test against Wakefield (Arlington, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Wakefield held off Yorktown (Arlington, VA), 3-2, in a league test.
