The Union County Patriots topped the visiting Alexandria-Monroe Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Patriots now have a 18-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jay County for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Union County will confront a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to New Castle (New Castle, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 12-13.

The Tigers (3-22) will now prepare for their test against Seton Catholic (Richmond, IN). The Cardinals enter the non-league test with a 14-10 record. In their last test, Seton Catholic gained a win over Union City (Union City, IN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
