Illinois High School Volleyball - Lexington tips Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond

October 7, 2023: Arthur, IL 61911

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) and the host Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights (Arthur, IL), saw Lexington's volleyball squad nip Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Lexington upgrades its record to 15-11 on the year. The Minutemen travel to Rantoul (Rantoul, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-15. Rantoul lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL)

The Knights now own a 9-15 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a Lincoln Prairie bout on Tuesday, October 10. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Sullivan (Sullivan, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-22.
