California High School Volleyball - Birmingham can't hold off Glendale

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Glendale Nitros volleyball team scored a tight 1-0 triumph over the Birmingham Patriots.
The Nitros (28-6) will now prepare for their battle against GALA (Los Angeles, CA). The Goddesses come into the non-league battle with a 17-4 record. In their last battle, GALA nudged Jordan (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Patriots encounter the Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA) in a West Valley battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Birmingham will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Toreadors come into the battle with a 32-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Paraclete (Lancaster, CA).
