The Mendon Hornets topped the visiting Blissfield Royals volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hornets now have a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lenawee Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Mendon will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 11-3.
The Royals (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Hillsdale Academy (Hillsdale, MI). The Colts enter the non-league test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Hillsdale Academy gained a win over Hillsdale (Hillsdale, MI), 3-1, in a non-league test.
