St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Cane Bay Cobras (Summerville, SC), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Sharks clash with the Carolina Forest Panthers (Myrtle Beach, SC) in a AAAAA Region 5 match, on Tuesday, October 10. St. James will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 9-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC).
With the loss, Cane Bay drops to 12-13 on the campaign. The Cobras host Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC) to clash with the Stags in a AAAAA Region 6 match on Wednesday, October 11. The Stags come into the match with a record of 7-10. Berkeley won 3-0 in their recent league match against Stratford (Goose Creek, SC)
