The Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Columbus Wildcats to 1 in the Stormin' Pointers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Stormin' Pointers now have a 24-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Falls for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7. Center Point-Urbana will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over West Delaware (Manchester, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 24-3.

The Wildcats (5-12) will now prepare for their game against Pekin (Packwood, IA). The Panthers enter the SEI - North game with a 4-17 record. In their last game, Pekin was nudged by Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
