In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Central Springs Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Spencer Tigers.
The Panthers (21-8) will now prepare for their battle against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 9-14 record. In their last battle, Clear Lake achieved victory over St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Lincoln Railsplitters (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. Spencer will attempt to advance on its 7-21 season record. The Railsplitters come into the battle with a 3-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA).
