With the win, Central Valley upgrades its record to 15-7 on the year. The Cougars host Heartland Lutheran (Grand Island, NE) to play the Red Hornets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Red Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Heartland Lutheran lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Elba (Elba, NE)

The Eagles now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Valley for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Omaha Christian Academy will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Alma (Alma, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 12-6.
