The Del Lago Academy Firebirds topped the visiting Sweetwater Red Devils volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Firebirds now have a 14-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwest EC for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Del Lago Academy will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Sweetwater (National City, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 18-9.
The Red Devils (15-15) will now prepare for their test against Grossmont (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers enter the non-league test with a 15-9 record. In their last test, Grossmont was knocked off by Montgomery (San Diego, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
