The Mt. Pleasant Panthers topped the host Des Moines North Polar Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 8-26 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfield for a Southeast test on Saturday, October 7. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Burlington (Burlington, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 14-9.
The Polar Bears (0-10) will now prepare for their test against Saydel (Des Moines, IA). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 1-18 record. In their last test, Saydel was knocked off by Greene County (Jefferson, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
