The Maroons (21-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Liberty (West Liberty, IA). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 21-8 record. In their last challenge, West Liberty defeated Durant (Durant, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans encounter the Waterloo Christian Regents (Waterloo, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Waterloo East will attempt to move on its 5-22 season record.
