The Panthers (16-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY). The Valkyries enter the non-league challenge with a 22-10 record. In their last challenge, Sacred Heart nipped Paul Laurence Dunbar (Lexington, KY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gators encounter the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Greenwood will attempt to move on its 26-6 season record. The Green Waves enter the challenge with a 15-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Breckinridge County (Harned, KY).
