The Whitney Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Estancia Eagles to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats now have a 12-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hawthorne for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7. Whitney will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Inglewood (Inglewood, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-10.
The Eagles (15-11) will now prepare for their game against Orange (Orange, CA). The Panthers enter the Orange Coast game with a 7-12 record. In their last game, Orange was nudged by Santiago (Garden Grove, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
