With the win, Pine Ridge upgrades its record to 13-2 on the year. The Thorpes travel to Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 21-6. Northwestern Area won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Faulkton (Faulkton, SD)

The Indians now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Platte/Geddes for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Flandreau Indian will play a Black Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Gregory (Gregory, SD). The Black Panthers record now stands at 19-4.
