The Roswell Coyotes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Gadsden Panthers to 1 in the Coyotes non-league victory on Saturday.

The Coyotes now have a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goddard for a non-league game on Thursday, October 12. Roswell will meet a Rockets team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Rockets record now stands at 10-3.

The Panthers (9-4) will now prepare for their game against Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights enter the 5A District 3 game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Organ Mountain dropped by Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM), 3-0, in a non-league game.
