In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Glencoe Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Gaylesville Trojans.

The Yellowjackets (13-28) will now prepare for their battle against Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL). The Aggies come into the non-league battle with a 19-14 record. In their last battle, Sylacauga lost by Pell City (Pell City, AL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Gaston Bulldogs (Gadsden, AL) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Gaylesville will attempt to advance on its 8-26 season record.
