Illinois High School Volleyball - Grant Community Schaumburg

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Schaumburg Saxons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Grant Community Bulldogs.

The Saxons (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Fillies/Broncos come into the Mid-Suburban battle with a 24-3 record. In their last battle, Barrington achieved victory over Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL), 2-0, in a league match.

With the loss, Grant Community drops to 13-13 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Elgin (Elgin, IL) to battle the Maroons in a non-league match on Saturday, October 7. The Maroons come into the match with a record of 4-18. Elgin lost 2-0 in their recent league match against South Elgin (South Elgin, IL)
