In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Hermantown Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the North Polars.
The Hawks (14-5) will now prepare for their battle against Cloquet (Cloquet, MN). The Lumberjacks come into the Lake Superior battle with a 20-2 record.
Next, the Polars clash with the Rockford Rockets (Rockford, MN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 7. North will attempt to advance on its 1-17 season record. The Rockets come into the battle with a 13-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN).
