The Two Harbors Agates held off the visiting Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Agates now have a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chisholm for a non-league test on Saturday, October 7. Two Harbors will confront a Bluestreaks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hibbing (Hibbing, MN). The Bluestreaks record now stands at 11-6.
The Jaguars (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Mesabi East (Aurora, MN). The Giants enter the non-league test with a 12-3 record. In their last test, Mesabi East held off Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN), 3-1, in a league test.
