With the win, Hudson upgrades its record to 18-14 on the year. The Pirates travel to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA) to play the Falcons in a North Iowa Cedar - East bout on Saturday, October 7. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 22-7. Aplington-Parkersburg lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Denver (Denver, IA)

The Blue Devils now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Turkey Valley for a Upper Iowa bout on Tuesday, October 10. West Central will play a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Postville (Postville, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-11.
