The Independence Mustangs volleyball team (Independence, IA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets (Iowa Falls, IA)
The Cadets (9-22) will now prepare for their challenge against Janesville (Janesville, IA). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 17-8 record. In their last challenge, Janesville nipped Clarksville (Clarksville, IA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs meet the Hampton-Dumont Bulldogs (Hampton, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Independence will attempt to move on its 14-20 season record.
