Next up, the Comets face the Liberty Lightning (North Liberty, IA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 7. West Liberty will attempt to better on its 24-10 season record. The Lightning go into the contest with a 8-12 record after their 2-0 league win over Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA).

With the loss, Iowa City moves to 28-18 on the year. The Little hawks travel to Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 7. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 7-14. Bettendorf won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Clinton (Clinton, IA)
